Elevated seawater temperature, increased macroalgal abundance, and nutrient concentrations during summer are correlated with a shift in the taxonomic composition of seawater, macroalgae and sponge microbiomes and an associated increase in microbial functions associated with opportunistic/pathogenic and copiotrophic process.
