Confocal fluorescence microscopy images of DAPI-stained E. coli strain WG5 and SYBR Gold-stained purified particles obtained in Step 2 from fish, mussels, chicken 1 and 2 samples. The mixture was incubated at 37 °C for 1 h. Arrows show presumably phage-infected bacterial cells with a complete fluorescent signal. Scale bar: 5 µm.
