Phylogeny is based on the backbone GTDB reference tree and phylogenetic placement of the additional assemblies. Redundant assemblies were removed (0.1 tree distance). Asterisks indicate assemblies coming from cultured strains. GTDB classes and orders are indicated. Generic and familial labels are provided when at least one assembly has a rhodopsin gene.
