The phylogenomic tree is based on 43 concatenated universal, single-copy marker genes identified with CheckM, and was generated after automatic model selection with IQ-Tree. ‘Ca. Taurinisymbion ianthellae’ is displayed in red bold font while sponge symbionts are displayed in black bold font.
