  1. The PWS-IC mice exhibit a range of behavioural phenotypes of relevance to psychiatric illness, in particular increased startle response and decreased PPI, and reduced attention [17, 18]. Testing the PWS-cr mice in equivalent conditions (same genetic background, same behavioural equipment, testing rooms, and protocols) revealed no differences, apart from a reduction in acoustic startle response.
