The analysis of the linkage disequilibrium (LD) among the 6 SNPs shows three blocks of LD namely: (1) rs9268528, rs9268542, rs9268556, rs14004; (2) rs9268557 and (3) rs8084 which are not completely independent with an r2 greater than 0.4 and a D’ > 0.8.
