The leucine at position 26 (DQB1-26L) which is located the pocket 4 is indicated by a red arrow. The DQB1-26L amino acid is shared by alleles belonging to the HLA-DQB1*02, HLA-DQB1* 03, and HLA-DQB1*06 specificities, whilst the DQB1-45G amino acid tag alleles of the HLA-DQB1*02, HLA-DQB1* 03, HLA-DQB1*04, HLA-DQB1* 05 and HLA-DQB1* 06 antigens.
