Time-course graphs of extracellular dopamine output in the nAc using reversed microdialysis following administration of vehicle (Ringer’s solution), nicardipine (100 µM) alone or in combination with CaCl₂ (0.5 mM) or ethanol (300 mM). No significant differences in dopamine levels were observed between rats receiving nicardipine alone compared with rats receiving the addition of CaCl₂ or ethanol.
