Time-course graphs of extracellular dopamine output in the nAc using reversed microdialysis following administration of vehicle (Ringer’s solution), nicardipine (100 µM) alone or in combination with CaCl2 (0.5 mM) or ethanol (300 mM). No significant differences in dopamine levels were observed between rats receiving nicardipine alone compared with rats receiving the addition of CaCl2 or ethanol.
