Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fast becoming the new reality in dental care and could be integral to all practices in as little as five years. That's according to Mike Barniv, Vice President of Clinical Affairs for technology company Pearl.

Importantly, however, he caveats his statement by stressing that despite the rapid advances of AI, he expects ultimate diagnosis and treatment planning to remain in the hands of the dentist - at least for now.
