BDA Indemnity hosts a number of dento-legal events during the year and our themed flagship event is the annual Dento-legal study day. This series of articles under the theme ‘Risky Business' has been written by the speakers based on their original presentations to facilitate dissemination to the wider profession for which we are very grateful. In the first of the series, Raj Rattan MBE, Dental Director at Dental Protection, explores facets of failure including its psychological impact, classification, and the dento-legal consequences.

Failure is an unavoidable aspect of the human experience. Whether in our personal or professional life, we encounter challenges when our plans falter and efforts fall short of required standards.
