Twenty potential participants were screened and all (N = 20) underwent CRP pointā€‘ofā€‘care (POC) testing: nine were CRPā€‘negative (ā†’ painā€‘history reference ā†’ 3 irreversible pulpitis, 6 reversible pulpitis) and eleven were CRPā€‘positive (ā†’ painā€‘history reference ā†’ 10 irreversible pulpitis, 1 reversible pulpitis).
