GD At the heart of conference is the idea that we are appealing not only to the specialist community, but to those who might be interested in the specialty. That's a broad church, including non-specialists, but more importantly it includes the next generation of orthodontists going through their undergraduate training and assessing their options beyond graduation, whether that is in general practice or moving into a specialist pathway. With that in mind, the programme offers something for everyone. The plenary sessions will cover everything from aligners, specialist comment through to speakers from a non-dental background that bring relevance and wider ideas the profession can learn from.
The other aspect, equally as important, is the ‘So you want to be an orthodontist' session, which is incredibly popular and works well within the conference as an opportunity to hear from those who are at different stages of their orthodontic career, to network with them and ask questions to gain further insight in an open and relaxing setting.
