Introduction
Reader panellists are dental professionals who help contribute to BDJ Team through writing at least one article (in a year) and who might be asked to provide feedback on published content or ideas for content; suggest themes for special issues; review a book for BDJ Team; or volunteer to be an interviewee. Panellists are also encouraged to spread the word about BDJ Team and share content with colleagues and peers.
We are pleased to welcome the following individuals to our reader panel for 2026. They join continuing panellists Rebecca Silver, Fiona Ellwood, Alison Brown and Cheryl Goodenough.
New panellists
Linda Bromage
Linda Bromage Adv.Dip CHyp, CBH is a registered dental hygienist, educator, and clinical hypnotherapist with a special interest in the neurophysiology of stress and communication in dentistry. Her research and teaching explore how self-regulation, language, and clinical presence influence both patient experience and practitioner wellbeing. She is writing a book, The Dental Reset: A Practical Guide to Neural Regulation in Dentistry, which integrates neuroscience and clinical practice to promote sustainable, resilient performance in dental care.

Linda Bromage
In November, Linda wrote in BDJ Team about finding meaning and balance in the modern world of dental hygiene (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41407-025-3158-9).
Her experience with hypnosis facilitated a patient achieving the extraction of two molar teeth with only hypnosis as the suggested anaesthetic; Linda's account of this procedure will be published in the March issue of BDJ Team.
Harriet Buley-Snell
Harriet Buley-Snell BSc (Hons), Dip. Education & Training, Dip. Dental Hygiene, Cert HE Dental Nursing is a dental hygienist based in the Cotswolds. She currently works in a general dental practice and is the Regional Oral Health and Dental Care Professional Development Lead for NHS England South West Workforce Training & Education.

Harriet Buley-Snell
Harriet began her career in dentistry by studying to be a dental nurse at the University of Portsmouth in 2011. After qualifying, she worked in a forward-thinking NHS general dental practice where she was supported by the practice owner to study Dental Hygiene at the University of Bristol, qualifying in 2016. Whilst studying, Harriet particularly enjoyed placements in the intensive care unit and stroke ward of the local hospital, and also in care homes around the region. Here she developed a passion for including mouth care as part of person focused care and a special interest in mouth care as part of end-of-life care.
After stints working in private practice and for the Ministry of Defence, Harriet took up a position with Health Education England, delivering clinical mouth care training in acute hospitals and care homes. This role developed and she went on to lead the South West Mouth Care Matters team. She continues to develop her interest in oral health as part of general health in her current role for NHS England where she works closely with Dental Public Health teams and Local Authorities to develop training programmes in oral health for the wider health and social care team. Having been so well supported by various mentors throughout her career, Harriet relishes the opportunity to support other dental care professionals to develop their career and understands the challenges that can arise from this.
Jade Campbell
Jade Campbell is a dental hygienist and therapist who is currently in her final year of studying for an MSc in Advanced Periodontal Practice at the University of Essex. Jade has extensive experience working across NHS and private dentistry, as well as with the Royal Navy, and has previously worked as a Clinical Supervisor at the University of Plymouth. Jade has a particular interest in periodontitis and runs the Cornwall Dental Reading Group, where members regularly review dental journals, articles and books. Jade is passionate about promoting evidence-based periodontal management and high standards of patient care.
Paula Ennis
Paula Ennis is a qualified dental nurse and oral health educator. She has worked in a busy, family-run practice for 36 years. She featured in BDJ Team in 2017: https://www.nature.com/articles/bdjteam2017153.

Paula is married to Mark and has two children, Hollie, 27 and Thomas, 21, and a very spoilt cocker Spaniel called Molly.
Paula really enjoys her job, especially the interaction with the patients, making sure their visit is comfortable and as stress-free as possible. She also enjoys encouraging and educating patients on how they can improve and maintain a healthy smile and good oral health. We look forward to hearing more from Paula this year.
Hannah Lambourn
Hannah Lambourn is a registered dental professional with over 12 years' experience in clinical practice and dental compliance. She has previously been involved in supporting and educating oral healthcare teams across the UK and volunteers with the ambulance service. Her professional interests include patient safety and improving consistency in medical emergency preparedness within dentistry.

Siobhán Kelleher
Siobhán Kelleher is a multi-award-winning dental care professional and an opinion leader and clinical support specialist with several leading dental companies. She presents nationally and internationally in the dental world and regularly contributes articles to industry-leading publications. She is the Founder, Clinical and Project lead for the NSK Ikigai Oral Hygiene Program, a TePe Education team lecturer and her company Siobhan Kelleher Education Ltd is an accredited postgraduate course provider.

Siobhán Kelleher
Siobhán wrote about oral hygiene education in July 2025 for BDJ Team and was interviewed in November 2023 (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41407-023-2025-9). At the time of writing, Siobhán is on a volunteering trip in Tanzania and is going to report back for our readers.
Jessica Patel
Jessica Patel is a Community Dental Officer and will soon be commencing her role as a Senior Dental Officer. She has extensive experience treating special care and paediatric patients and delivers inhalation sedation as well as intravenous sedation, supported by a postgraduate certification in IV sedation.
Jessica also holds a postgraduate certificate in Dental Education and is passionate about teaching and supporting dental teams. She is a trained Mental Health First Aider and is particularly interested in advocacy – both for her patients and for the wider dental profession. Her goal is to promote inclusive, compassionate care while championing the wellbeing and development of dental professionals.

Angela Streeting
Angela Streeting is a dental nurse and oral health educator working for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in Gibraltar, running monthly oral health campaigns for service personnel and their families. After 30 years in dentistry, Angela has worked in many different settings including the NHS, private, community dentistry and now for the Military as a civilian. She is passionate about oral education, dental nurse education and mentoring, sustainability in dentistry, the mouth-body connection, and how dental care professionals play a part in smoking cessation. Angela holds a number of post qualifications, runs her own weekly oral health clinics and smoking cessation clinics, and is heavily involved in the supervised brushing and fluoride programme in Gibraltar.
