Abiraterone exhibits oestrogenic activity in wt-MCF7 and MCF7-LTED. Wt-MCF7 cells were grown in hormone-deprived conditions prior to treatment. a Abiraterone (Abi) alone or in combination with three concentrations of E2 (0.001, 0.01 and 0.1 nΜ). b MCF7-LTEDwt or c MCF7-LTEDY537C were treated with escalating concentrations of abiraterone (Abi) alone or in combination with three concentrations of E2. d Wt-MCF7 or e MCF7-LTEDY537C were treated with increasing doses of ICI 182,780 (ICI) alone, or with 7.5 μM Abi.
