In the LPS+D-GalN-induced ALF mouse model, PTPN14 promoted SOCS7 degradation through ubiquitination at K11 and K48. Knockdown of SOCS7 facilitated the assembly of the IKK complex, thereby leading to the activation of NF-κB pathway and the excessive secretion of inflammatory factors.
