In the proposed model, liver injury triggers NF-κB-mediated upregulation of NLRP3 and proinflammatory genes including IL-1β, IL-18, TNF-α, and MCP-1, which could be alleviated by lnc-Lfar1 silencing, thus providing an attractive therapeutic target against liver fibrosis.
