a The expression of TWIST, SNAIL and ZEB1 was examined by a western blot after the SNAIL, TWIST and ZEB1-expressing vector was transfected into the AGS cell lines. b The expression of miR-590 was detected by qRT-PCR after overexpressing SNAIL, TWIST and ZEB1. c The SNAIL-expressing vector was cotransfected with the psiCHECK2 luciferase reporter plasmid, which contained a 3 kb fragment upstream of the human miR-590 stem-loop, into AGS cells. The luciferase activity was then observed. d A ChIP assay analysis was performed in AGS cells transfected with a vector expressing SNAIL. The data are shown as the mean ± s.d. (n = 3) in cell lines *p < 0.05, #p > 0.05.
