Whole-cell lysis of Bax−/−Bak1−/− and Bax−/−Bak1−/− WEH7 cells (upper panel) and p53−/− T lymphoma cells (lower panel), were treated with 1 µM Dex for the indicated times and analyzed by western blot. Membranes were incubated with a rabbit anti–BOK polyclonal antibody and subsequently with a monoclonal antibody to ACTIN. Lysates from Bax−/−Bak1−/− and Bax−/−Bak1−/− Bok−/− mouse embryonic fibroblast lines (MEFs) were used as positive and negative controls. The results of one of two independent experiments are shown.
