Representative images of FGFR2, p-AKT, and p-ERK immunostaining in tumor specimens harboring different FGFR2 fusion chimeras are shown (a). Tumors harboring classical (FB949) or sub-classical (BF494) fusions showed high-expression of FGFR2 and high phosphorylation of AKT and ERK. Western blotting showing signaling inhibition upon BGJ398 and AZD4547 treatment (b). Phosphorylation of FRS2, AKT, and ERK was detected in RBE cells expressing FB949, BF494, BF846, or vector control.
