KAT2A may have multiple roles in the nucleus and cytoplasm to regulate cGAS, such as acetylation and deacetylation, transcription regulation, etc. The activated cGAS-STING pathway may induce inflammation amplification by affecting autophagy and metabolic reprogramming.
