STAT4 has dual roles during HCC (i) STAT4 directly promotes HepG2 cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, and affects apoptosis and cell cycle; (ii) Polymorphism rs7574865 participates the occurrence and progression of HCC by regulating the CYP2E1/FGL2 pathway.
