RNA virus is induced by exogenous RNA and cytoplasmic dsRNA, which activates the MAVS signaling pathway. However, USP35 inhibits the MAVS-TBK1-IRF3 signaling pathway through its deubiquitinating activity, thereby attenuating the production of type I interferons.
