The association between SERPINA3 concentrations measured within 72 hours of disease onset and12-month survival was evaluated using Cox proportional hazard regression models. A Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve assessing the diagnostic accuracy of SERPINA3 in predicting survival versus mortality outcomes. The AUC, and criterion value are shown. AUC = 0.763. B Kaplan–Meier curve with a log-rank test of the predictor above and below the cut-off value. (SERPINA3 = 7.493 ng/ml).
