A549 (A) and H460 cells (B) were lentivirally transduced with either Scrambled sequence (control) or HOXC8 shRNAs for 2 days followed by counting cells using Cellometer. Data are means ± SEM. ***P < 0.001. C A549 and H460 cells were lentivirally transduced with Scrambled sequence (control) or HOXC8 shRNAs for 3 days followed by PI-based flow cytometry to determine cell cycle progression. A549 (D) and H460 cells (E) were infected with lentiviral vector containing Scrambled sequence (control) or HOXC8 shRNAs for 2 days and then cultured in the presence of vehicle (DMSO), 10 µM zVAD, 10 µM DEVD, 50 µM chloroquine (CQ) or 10 µM necrostatin for 2 days followed by an MTT assay to analyze cell viability.
