A MCF7 cells were transfected with either 25 nM Scr-tRiMetF31_2 or 25 nM WT-tRiMetF31; at 24 h and 48 h after transfection, whole cellular lysates were prepared and subjected to Western blot analysis using antibody against PFKFB3, as detailed in the “Materials and methods”. B At 24 h after transfection, cells were replated in 96-well plates, and MTT assay was performed as detailed in the “Materials and methods”. C, D MCF7 cells were transfected with either 25 nM WT-tRiMetF31 or 25 nM Scr-tRiMetF31_2; at 24 h and/or 48 h after transfection, cells were harvested for apoptosis and cell cycle analyses, as detailed in the “Materials and methods”. * indicates P < 0.05.
