A, B HL60 cells were exposed to GO-, calicheamicin- or etoposide for 48 h with or without pre-treatment with the caspase-2 inhibitor z-VDVAD-fmk (10 µM) for 2 h. The amount of active caspase-3 in HL60 cells was quantified by flow cytometry. Caspase-3 associated mean fluorescence intensity is presented. Histograms from one representative experiment showing activation of caspase-3 by a shift to the right is presented in Supplementary Fig. S1.
