Activation of the WNT/β-catenin and MYC pathways can induce tumor cell proliferation and MYC can participate in immune cell-related activities to inhibit innate and adaptive immune responses. In addition, MYC can be activated by several cytokines secreted by CAFs, including IL-33 and chemokine, which leads to the suppression of tumor immunity.
