Structures of PDI inhibitors PACMA31 and CCF642 (A). ASC-citrine expressing BMDM were infected with Salmonella in the presence of the indicated PDI inhibitors or 1% DMSO vehicle control. ASC speck formation and uptake of the small membrane-impermeant nuclear dye To-PRO-3 were assessed (B). Data are means ± SD, n = 3 replicates, representative of two independent experiments. No significant difference was found between either drug condition and the infected vehicle control (One-way ANOVA, Tukey’s post-hoc analysis).
