Epicapsular stars, which are the remnants of tunica vasculosa lentis, can be seen sporadically and may be associated with anterior segment dysgenesis. The presence of co-existent glaucoma with these pigmentary changes points towards angle dysgenesis as the likely cause of glaucoma in this child. Although Neurofibromatosis is known to be associated with anterior segment dysgenesis, such unilateral lenticular pigmentation is not described.
