A Densitree from SNAPP analyses. The thin lines forming each branch represent individual trees sampled every 1000 generations. The populations west of the Xingu River were indistinguishable from each other. East of the Xingu River there are two well supported clades (each with a posterior probability of one), one clade includes individuals from locations on the right bank of the Anapu River, Monteverde and Altamira, and the other one includes individuals from locations on the left bank of the Anapu River, Caxiuanã Bay, and Serra Sul. The localities represented by the code given at each tip are provided in Table 1
