In both analyses, individuals with disagreement between morphological and mitochondrial identification belong to the same mitochondrial lineages as recovered by the COI gene (Neves et al. 2021). There is no evidence of genetic population structure between the samples of M. curvidens from two estuaries (SA—Santo Antonio; MB—Manguaba).
