Changes in primary metabolites in peel tissue at 100, 120, 140, and 160 days after full blossom (DAFB) between low- and high-altitude regions (20 m and 750 m). A color scale that is proportional to the log2 ratio of each identified metabolite shows the fold-change between low- and high-altitude regions. Mean values of three independent measurements for each region were analyzed between the distinct environments. Relative values for each metabolite mean are provided in Supplementary Table 1
