Validation of the novel CLEIA method for aldosterone measurement. Plasma aldosterone concentrations (PACs) measured using the novel chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay (CLEIA) was validated with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS, the gold standard) and radioimmunoassay (RIA, the conventional assay). CLEIA vs. LC-MS/MS (AC), RIA vs. LC-MS/MS (DF) and CLEIA vs. RIA (GI). Each validation was evaluated using the Passing-Bablok regression (A, D, G) and the Bland-Altman (B, C, E, F, H, I) analyses. In the Bland-Altman analysis, solid and broken lines indicate mean difference and its confidential interval, respectively
