SNP density is represented by gray histograms of 10 kb windows along the 10 chromosomes of each maize line. Arrowheads in blue and green present below the SNP plots indicate the locations of Rf measurement intervals on chromosomes 2 and 9, respectively. The position of the marker R1 is indicated by a pink arrowhead under the SNP plots on chromosome 10. Orange arrows highlight regions with a reduced density of polymorphisms.
