a, Gel depiction of cPCR amplification for the NanoLuc reporter gene across transplastomic strains shown in Fig. 5c, with four distinct constructs integrated at separate sites in the genome. For each construct, nbiological = 3. A unique band, ranging from ~1500-2000 bp, is visible in genetically modified strains across all four constructs and integration sites, but is not present in the WT.
