In the version of the article initially published, in Fig. 2g, the third-from-left genotype label “dcl4-1” should have read “drb4-1”. In Fig. 3e, four genotype labels were incorrect: “ein5-1 drb4-2”, “ein5-1 drb4-1 dcl4-2”, “ein5-1 dcl4-1” and “ein5-1 dcl2-1 dcl4-1” should have read “ein5-1 dcl4-2”, “ein5-1 dcl2-1 dcl4-2”, “ein5-1 drb4-1” and “ein5-1 dcl2-1 drb4-1”, respectively. In Fig. 4a, the label “DEAD/box helicase” should have read “DEAD/H-box helicase”. In the Extended Data Fig. 8 legend, several hyperlinks were erroneously included which have now been removed. These corrections have been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
