Quantitative PCR (qPCR) showing mRNA expression levels of MyHCIIx in Vastus Lateralis (a–d), and Gastrocnemius (e–h) muscles of control mice kept in resting condition (Rest) and HU mice (Unload) at time points 1-2-3 and 4 weeks. Analysis showed a down-regulation of MyHCIIx at 1 week of suspension in both Vastus Lateralis (a) and Gastrocnemius (e) muscles. The decrease of MyHCIIx was also observed at 3 and 4 weeks of suspension in Vastus Lateralis (c) and Gastrocnemius (h), respectively. Shapiro-Wilk test and Mann-Whitney test were performed.
