In the Raman images of samples 1 and 2, quartz is the only phase detected. Similarly, the Raman images of samples 3 and 4 reveal the presence of anorthite (CaAl2Si2O8), augite ((Ca,Na)(Mg,Fe,Al,Ti)(Si,Al)2O6), and minor amounts of hornblende ((Ca,Na)2(Mg,Fe,Al)5(Al, Si)8O22 (OH)2) and quartz (SiO2). Samples 5 and 6 display the presence of albite (NaAlSi3O8), microcline (KAlSi3O8), biotite (K(Mg,Fe)3AlSi3O10(F,OH)2), and quartz (SiO2). Unmapped phases are indicated by black color.
