  1. Participant sex, site, age, and disease duration in years (mean ± 1 SD). Age and disease duration are based on the baseline visit. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) and Movement Disorders Society Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale Part III (MDS-UPDRS-III) for both baseline (Visit 1) and the 1-year follow-up (Visit 2) include mean ± 1 SD. One-way ANOVA was completed to see if all groups were similar or different from each other. Significance indicated by *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, and ***p < 0.001.
