Formalin-fixed brain tissue from all animals included in the study were tested via pSer129-α-synuclein immunohistochemistry for strong pathology, corresponding to the symptom of loss of righting reflex at time of euthanasia. Examples of the obtained staining’s for representative animals from each cohort are shown (ae). See Supplementary Table 1 for details on the individual animals.
