Both schizophrenic patients and healthy controls followed this flow to acquire data. At baseline, MRI scans and PANSS measures were completed. Afterwards, subjects were directed to the TMS treatment room for TMS. The stimulation area was the posterior part of the cerebellum near the midline, and the coil was placed as shown in the figure. Immediately after TMS, subjects underwent another MRI scans. Both MRI scans contained 3D-T1, BOLD and MRS.
