The volcano plots show the effect of each intervention on the good-quality metabolite features (n = 6629). Annotations are included for the metabolites with highest and most significant changes. The estimate is the regression coefficient of the linear mixed model and reflects the increase (positive value) or decrease (negative value) of the metabolite compared to baseline.
