From: The dynamics of state math anxiety vary by paradigm and timing during arithmetic

T1 to T6 indicate the six measurement time points during the arithmetic task. Trait math anxiety was measured pre-task, state math anxiety with one item and state anxiety were measured pre-task and post-task. State (math) anxiety was measured during the break of each paradigm after half of the arithmetic problems. Paradigm A and B refer to the two paradigm types (production vs. decision) presented in alternating order. Subcategories A1, A2, A3 and B1, B2, B3 further distinguish the three production paradigms and the three decision paradigms. The alternating order of paradigms was counterbalanced across participants.
