Comparison of two ZIKV RNA standard preparations diluted in normal macaque plasma to an extinction end-point. Amplification efficiency of RT-qPCR of ZIKVPRVABC59 (black circles) plotted against African lineage (Ugandan 1962 MP1751) QC material (NIBSC 16/110 expressed as IU/ml (red squares). Regression analysis (r2 values) were 0.998 and 0.999, respectively, with a high degree of agreement between the two reference panels. Limit of detection (LOD) for assays was 50 RNA equivalents/mL as described16 and 50 IU/mL.
