Fig. 1: Assessment of antibody responses to vaccination.

Cynomolgus macaques were vaccinated with TBS (TBSv), MVA-BN-EEEV (EEEv) or MVA-BN-WEV (WEVv) and subsequently challenged with EEEV via small particle aerosol inhalation at indicated time points (A). X4 = 4 animals, 1 = Cohort 1, 2 = Cohort 2, B = Both cohorts. Antibody responses were assessed via ELISA prior to vaccination (B) and post-vaccination using either a 28-day (cohort 1) or 42-day prime-boost schedule (cohort 2) (C and D, respectively). Group means +/− standard errors are shown. Individual final titers on the day of challenge (E). Neutralizing titer assessments by PRNT 80 were performed for both cohorts, with group means +/− standard errors shown (F and G), and individual final titers on the day of challenge (H). Group comparisons (area under the curve) were performed via Kruskal-Wallis test, with Dunn’s multiple comparisons test. Asterisks represent significant differences. **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.001.
