High-frequency radar profiles that show the expansion of layer packages within the Hercules Dome trough. Panel a) shows where each profile (b-e) was collected. The colors of the layer packages match the layers traced in Review Figure 1 that were dated with the South Pole ice core and bound the transition from the last glacial maximum to the late Holocene.
