Author Correction: Global emergent responses of stream microbial energetics to glacier shrinkage

Correction to: Nature Geoscience https://doi.org/10.1038/s41561-024-01393-6, published online 1 March 2024.

In the version of the article originally published, equations for threshold elemental ratios (TER_C:N and TER_C:P, eqs. 1 and 2) were incorrectly written, with the enzyme ratio in the numerators ($\frac{{\rm{BG}}+{\rm{LAP}}}{{\rm{LAP}}+{\rm{NAG}}}$ and $\frac{{\rm{BG}}+{\rm{LAP}}}{\rm{AP}}$) being divided by the biomass nutrient ratios (B_C:N and B_C:P):

However, the correct formula (and the one used in the paper for the calculations) multiplies these two terms:
