The fit favors a scenario with a 12.3 meV sublattice gap with a disorder-broadening parameter of approximately 7 × 109 cm-2, similar in magnitude to the broadening inferred from high-field compressibility measurements. The mean squared error (MSE) of the broadened fit is improved compared to that of the unbroadened fit by more than a factor of two.
