The binary solution of water and 2,6-lutidine possesses two distinct phases given by the binodal (black line) and spinodal line (black dotted line) separating mixed from demixed phases. The solution is prepared at T0 = 32. 5 ∘C and the critical concentration of 2,6-lutidine \({c}_{{{{\rm{L}}}}}^{{{{\rm{c}}}}}=0.286\) near the critical point (CP) with Tc ≈ 34 ∘C.
