a, Brain sections from KOM2 mice were double-labelled with antibodies against α-Syn (LB509) and various cell-type specific markers: Olig2 (oligodendrocytes), Iba1 (microglial cells), GFAP (astrocytes) and NeuN (neurons). In KOM2 mice, α-Syn is expressed only in oligodendrocytes. b, Brain lysates of wild-type and KOM2 mice were immunoblotted with an antibody against total α-Syn (Syn 9027), mouse α-Syn (Cell Signalling) and β-tubulin.
